Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant evaluates, plans, and provides care for patients in consultation with and under direct supervision of attending Physician. Performs clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician and according to approved protocols. Initiates and changes orders for tests and patient care based on condition of patient and approval of Physician. Develops and maintains active practice in facilities.

Baylor's transplant program was established in December 1984. Today, it is one of the nation's best. The Clinic Manager for Abdominal Transplant will be responsible for managing the nursing and support staff to provide optimal patient care in this ambulatory care setting. Ensures patient care is provided in accordance with established Baylor Health Care System standards and legal requirements. Develops, submits, administers the operating budget for the Outpatient Clinic and supports the goals and objectives of the Graduate
Medical Education Committee.
